About Peace Corps in Benin
Volunteers in Benin collaborate with their communities on locally prioritized projects related to food security, English education, and health. During their service in Benin, Volunteers learn to speak French as well as one of Benin's local languages, which include Adja, Bariba, Fon, Goun, Icha, Idaasha, Ife, Kotafon, Mahi, Mina, Nagot, Sahoue, Tchabe, and Wémè, among others.
